Ernestine Stewart, LCPC, LCMHC, LCAS, CCS
I completed my Masters program in Counseling Psychology in 2014 at Capella University. I completed my Post-Masters program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Johns Hopkins University in March of 2020. I am dually licensed in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS). In Maryland, I hold licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). As a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) and Qualified Supervisor (QS), I provide clinical supervision for LCMHCA's, LCASA's and CSAC's in North Carolina. I am a qualified SAP provider. I hold certifications as a Reiki Master, a Transformational Life Coach, a Sacred Ceremonies Facilitator, an Angel Card Reader, and as a Clinical Trauma Specialist. In addition, I am an EMDR trained therapist and Brainspotting Practitioner. More recently, I completed the Level 1 & 2 trainings in the Gottman Method, and I'm a Lessons in Love Leader. I have been working in the mental health and substance use fields since 2010 as both direct support and counseling staff at various locations. Over the years, I have worked with all age groups at inpatient, residential and outpatient programs. My areas of focus may include but are not limited to: life transitions, caregiver burnout, stress, anxiety, depression, substance use, eating and personality disorders, and relationship issues. I integrate a variety of treatment modalities into my practice, and my approach is client specific, however, I primarily utilize the following: EMDR, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered, IFS, and other modalities. I value having an authentic therapeutic relationship with my clients and encourage their self-agency to elicit feedback regarding the therapeutic process to ensure that their needs are being fulfilled.
The healing and coaching services I offer are rooted in a holistic, trauma-informed approach designed to support deep transformation—emotionally, spiritually, and energetically. Through offerings like intuitive clarity sessions, Reiki energy work, spiritual coaching and ceremonial work, I create a sacred space for those navigating burnout, heartbreak, life transitions, or a sense of disconnection from their true path. My goal is to help clients reconnect with their inner wisdom, release energetic and emotional blocks, and realign with purpose. Whether you're seeking clarity, healing, or empowerment, my work is guided by integrity, compassion, and a deep belief in your ability to rise.
